According to this recent study and article, the PS3 can consume more energy than five refrigerators. I don’t know if the study included fridges with ice makers and/or water in the door and I’m certain it didn’t include LG’s dual equipped HD fridge.

The PlayStation 3: Blu-ray player, next-gen game machine, multimedia hub–and power guzzler. According to a report by the Australian Consumers’ Association’s Choice publication, leaving your PS3 on when you’re not gaming can cost you A$250 ($239) a year in electricity bills.

Ever take a mirror and point it at another mirror? I think we have all at one time or another tried this. Probably with your mom’s mirror in the bathroom when you were 5 or 6 years old…

Ok, since we’re all ridiculously geeky retro gaming types, I’m going to assume we’ve all watched King of Kong. Some of us (myself included) are probably on our 5th or 6th viewing. So, I decided to post this and share what G4TV‘s XPlay envisioned the sequel looking like. My sides haven’t ached this much since watching Felix, the wonderful cat.

Now this is neat. I’ve never seen the usefulness of a Roomba, but if they partnered with Namco-Bandai and sold this model, I might be a bit more tempted.
