Dear friends,
I’m writing today to tell you about a new auction website for video games, accessories and the like. A few weeks ago I was perusing the klov forums for a coin box for my tron cocktail machine. While reading the forums, a member posted an ‘auction’ on the forums. It had many of the forum members in a visceral tizzy. During one of the rants about the “auctioneer’s” conduct, someone politley suggested that he might consider listing his item (a rare glass bezel for an omega race I think) on ChaseTheChuckwagon.
Chase the Chuckwagon is an auction site that is setup much like eBay. It has been around for almost a year and is really starting to take off. Chase the Chuckwagon get’s it’s name from a rare Atari 2600 cartridge that was given away as a promotion by Purina in the 1980s. According to an interview with the owner on CoinOp TV there have been a couple of boxed instances of the rare cartridge featured on their site. The other cool thing about this site is that since it exclusively caters to the gaming community–specifically retro gaming communities, they often have semi-famous game designers and or collector’s unloading their games for auction. The biggest advantage to the Chuck Wagon is that their fees are significantly lower for sellers than eBay.
I urge you to check it out if you’re looking for something rare. I myself was looking for a pink justifier for use with my SNES Lethal Enforcers. I didn’t find one on eBay after days of scouring the site so I decided to give the Chuck a try. It worked out and I found exactly what I was looking for.
Sincerely,
Madaracs

Sweet. Might make a good place unload the massive 3DO library I’m in the process of acquiring from a friend. 🙂
Yeah, I’m thinking of putting my CIB: SNES with Justifier and extras up for auction there. So you’d unload whichever 3DO games just suck then?
Not sure yet. I might just sell the whole lot and keep the system. There’s supposedly 60 games (mostly CIB), the light guns, extra controllers… all kinds of stuff. I haven’t had a 3DO since 1998 when I got rid of my original one at the same time as my TG16.
