Roy Taylor of Nvidia gave an interview to Eurogamer. One of the things the interview touched on was PC gaming vs. console gaming.

The console is now a baseline. If you look at Gears of War or Assassin’s Creed, they came out on console and they were great experiences – but the PC versions had additional aspects to them that also made them attractive, whether you owned the console version or not. The PC version was better. That’s something that people need to get their heads around – the console is a baseline, the PC is going to be an improved version. That’s an exciting future, and that’s why I don’t see anything threatening about console at all.

Future of gaming? But think of the germs. Wipe down the screen, or the game is a disease vector. Very cool, though.

I have my copy of Mario Kart Wii! Just got my feet wet with the single player. Lots of fun! From what I read on reviews, there was disappointment with the wheel. I thought it was fine. Didn’t get the frustration that others were reporting. This is only after a half hour of playing, so maybe I am missing something.

Who else has Mario Kart? The online play is supposed to be a blast.

Some dude found EPROMs for the Atari 2600 version of Cabbage Patch Kids. Link to the forum post. Get the rom dump here. That must of been a fun find.
