Battlecruiser Milleniums is free for download from the Battleruiser homepage. It is the next version of the game.
If you don’t know, Battlecruiser is a truly unique game in that it is setup in an open-ended free form galaxy (what Freelancer tried to do). If you choose, you can be given orders and have tasks to accomplish, otherwise you ahve no orders and you can do what you want, similiar to the Elite games. You fly, trade, blow up bad guys, explore strange new worlds, etc. Battlecruiser is a hard, but fun game. Millennium introduces new aspects (such as being able to be a ground person instead of a ship).
