Awhile back, Cloudscout bought some of these on woot.com at a reduced price. He gave one to me as a gift. They’re great if you have a PS One or PS2 laying around. At less than $50 this is a very good buy. Only 4 left.

They have solid construction and authentic arcade sticks and buttons. You can remove the T-Molding on these and totally customize the template underneath. If you want to label your buttons so you know which one is the X, [ ], O or /\ buttons on the PS2 joystick this can be handy. I’ve found that it’s excellent for most retro games in my collection and that kids like it even more. My neice and nephew had a blast playing Finding Nemo on the PS2. By the way, Finding Nemo as a game for kids is great–but I don’t enjoy it myself.

You should buy at least two converters or one with multiple ports. The controller pictured above is actually two PS2 Controllers in one.

Is there a way of hooking this up to a PC? I would be using it for Mame games.
Yes, you could buy a PS2 to USB converter. They’re sold at Radio Shack and various places online.
Yep, I bought one of these. Works like a charm. The problem was the adapter. The first adapter was a universal one that let you attach a ps2 controller to PC/xbox/cube. It didn’t work very well, sluggish response. I then purchased an adapter that had two hookups for player one and two, and was meant only for a PC. This worked great.
Now I just need to get my trackball up and running.
I purchased this… works great!
Which converter did you end up using?
Sorry, took me awhile to see the above comment. I bought this… http://store.videogamecentral.com/pc2pousbcoco.html
I initially bought a device off of e-bay. It had lag or something. Movement was imprecise. The above adapter works great.
