A totem of misspent youth.

I gave up the 5200.

I gave my Atari 5200 to Adam V for his birthday complete with a set of practically new games and fully restored joysticks. I think he was overjoyed as this was his system when he was a child.

I finally got my 6-switch Atari 2600 with woodgrain finish.

    I think it’s a heavy but I don’t rightly know. It’s not a Sunnyvale version. It’s a Taiwan version but it’s very heavy. And it has a metal Atari badge on the upper left side. I’ll take a photo of it and the bottom and we can check.

    Check this page to compare. Besides the extra weight from shielding, molding around the sides is noticably thicker. I have a light sixer, originally bought back in early 1979, I believe.
