Heya gang.

WP had a major release recently with Wordpress 2.7. Along with this comes a badly needed update to the dashboard. In my opinion the dashboard is a lot easier to use now.

My favorite improvement is that you can’t accidentally write a page when you meant to write a post. All of the controls for the site are neatly arranged at the left in a sidebar and very easy to use.

For the average WP user it will take some getting used to but overall I really like the improvement to the admin interface. You’ll notice other slight variations in how things work but I think you’ll find the changes welcome.

Enjoy.
