I swore there was a Wargames game for the Atari 8-bit, but I can’t find it listed on mobygames, but remember playing it. There was Playstation game called Wargames; Defcon 1, made many moons after the film. Love the synth bits between segments.

Not for the Atari but there was for the Coleco: http://www.mobygames.com/game/atari-8-bit/wargames-

That’s the one. Funny to look at the Colecovision version since it looks so much like it’s a TI-99/4A port(due to the same video chip). For the TI we had to settle for Computer War by Thorn EMI. Fun game.

Huh, weird. Looks like the link I posted is actually for Atari & Commodore Computers and not a Coleco. I did see a mock-up cart somewhere… maybe it was Atari Age?

Ahhhhhh. The wikipedia has the answer:

WarGames is a 1984 video game developed by Coleco for the ColecoVision, and later ported to the Atari 8-bit family and Commodore 64.

    -update-

Since I just recently got a ColecoVision… and the game looks kind of fun… I just bought a copy.

Hey there owner of a Colecovsion… I have some dupe Colecovision games. Interested? They would be gifts. We should have a duplicate swap some day with everyone.

I have some dupes too. Gorf, Donkey Kong. I think that’s it.
