As many of you know, Retro Gamer is the world’s best (and only I think) retro gaming magazine published by Imagine Publishing. I’ve been collecting them on and off. As they are quite expensive here in the U.S., I’m never terribly disappointed when I miss an issue… but I do find myself lamenting the fact I missed this issue or that issue.
In this month’s issue (Final Fantasy on the cover) there is a special offer. For $80 USD (normally 80 pounds sterling) you can get 13 issues delivered to your doorstep. The ad says:
To subscribe online: http://www.imaginesubs.co.uk/RET
And Quote USA.
When I went online to do this the USA code failed. If you’re not paying attention you’ll end up buying the 13 magazines for $80 pounds so be careful! However, you can call them directly using Skype (or if you have international service on your cell phone it’s possible to dial as well.)
My wife gave me this subscription for Christmas so I called the phone number in the article. It’s a nearly $60 savings for the mag!
USA Offer expires March 2010

With how much I’ve spent on RG issues, I should do this. However, dat form is not working.
As I said, I used the phone. It’s a surefire thing. But you’ll have to call in the morning as they’re only open 8am-8pm UK Time.
I know. I just dun wanna use the phone.
When I called a hot UK chick answered the phone. She replied “Brilliant!” to everything I said.
