Today a new version of Wordpress was released and since I haven’t upgraded the site ever I did it today. There are several security enhancements and it only took about 5 minutes for the entire upgrade. Most everything looks good and the administrative utilities are much improved. Also the upload feature is more conveniently located in the ‘Write Post’ section so that you don’t have to bounce back and forth to upload stuff. There is also a rich text editor which I loathe–if you don’t want to run it follow these instructions.

UPDATE: Looks like my links got messed up so I’m going to figure that out.
