Podcasting Starter Kit on Woot

money

Today over at Woot: A Nice little mic and mixer set for cheap. Sure, it’s all M-Audio equipment, but it might be worth a look at $59 if you want to start your own podcast or just play around.  It also comes with a keyboard complete with sound effects.  Also, over at sellout.woot there is a nice M-Audio USB interface for mic or guitar.

    Read the fine print… it is $60 for each thing. So what is pictured is $180.

    Still not a bad price. Have you ever bought a professional mic? They’re spendy! Anyway, it you don’t want that crap you can go and get the Ridiculously Large 8-Device Universal Remote – 2 Pack today.

    With the mixer they sell, does it effectively give you additional audio inputs over USB? If so, that’s pretty neat. The griffin iMic I mail-ordered doesn’t exactly do that. I thought getting additional audio inputs(without using a plain mixer) would be easy, when in fact, it is not.
